








So this summer has been great!
During June I have:
* Babysat two little girls down the street.
* Studied for the SLLA exam
* Took the SLLA exam
* Organized a silent auction for the Trinity Youth Mission Trip to Atlanta
* Went to the CMA Fest in the Hospitality Suite... :)
* Visited with friends and family
* Started work on my classroom
During the past weeks in July, I have:
* Celebrated the fourth with Jim and friends
* Celebrated the fact that I passed the SLLA exam with a score of 90%
* Presented and completed my last project for my master's degree
* Ordered my cap and gown
* Made 2100 at the silent auction that I organized
* Gotten a 2nd job watching 2 year olds at a church :)
* Worked some more in my classroom
* Painted the back wall in my classroom a pretty blue :)
* Gone on a mission trip to Atlanta with 18 teenagers and 4 adults including me (Did I mention that at 27, I was the oldest adult on this trip? creepy!) Enjoy the pictures on this page from that trip.
* Seen wonderful work accomplished by the 6 teens in my small group
* Become very close to some of these teens
* had very swollen ankles... stupid heat
* driven a 12 passenger van in Atlanta rush hour traffic
* done more work on my classroom
* am currently visiting my aunt and 2 cousins in Knoxville, TN
* been missing Jim
* Trying to prepare myself for another crazy school year
* been getting excited about my student teacher that is coming this fall
* trying to not go out of control buying school supplies!
* praying
* missed my mom
